can't find element

Elizabeth Nov 11, 2015 05:18PM CET

I have Appium tests that work locally, but fail when run through testdroid because they can't find a particular element. I have taken a screen shot and the element is clearly present. I know the ID is correct because it works locally. I'm using the set up from the sample code, the only thing I changed is the apk and the expected start page. What's going on?

My code:
driver.manage().timeouts().implicitlyWait(60, TimeUnit.SECONDS);
takeScreenshot("start");
WebDriverWait wait = new WebDriverWait(driver, 30); wait.until(ExpectedConditions.presenceOfElementLocated(By.id(Constants.SPLASH_SIGNUP_BUTTON_ID)));

Hello,

It's difficult to say based on that code example, but it would be easy to find out by looking at your test run. Can you please provide more details and we'll be happy to take a look at?

Best regards,
