Testdroid Cloud Overview

Testdroid Cloud is the simplest way to test your application against various real Android devices – from different manufacturers, with different HW platforms, OS version and screen resolutions. On Testdroid Cloud test cases are standard Android testing framework tests. With the testing framework, you get access to device APIs and can test internals of the application as easily as the UI and functionality. For debugging purposes detailed exceptions and logcats are available for further analysis.

Real Devices

On Testdroid Cloud service all the test runs are executed on real Android and iOS devices. Testing on real devices is the only way to make sure that you give your users the best possible experience and that they will not give your application low ratings in their reviews due to quality of the application. A lot of your development and marketing efforts can be wasted, if your application starts getting low ratings due to crashing on popular devices for example. It is very cost efficient to run tests on our 120+ devices compared to any other testing proposition.

Test localised apps

Nowadays application users come every part of our globe. Delivering them localised user experience is imperative to reach highest possible audience. On Testdroid Cloud you can easily test localised versions of your application by changing the device locale during testing. If your app uses device locale to determine to application language you can test all the versions in one go.

REST API access

Testdroid Cloud customers can integrate device testing in cloud to their own build process by using our  REST API. Using the API, you can also fetch all the test data, including screenshots and log-cats for deeper analysis. It really is like Amazon cloud for Android and iOS devices testing.
